Radar level meters have many advantages. Strong adaptability to temperature and pressure is the most significant feature. Moreover, the measurement will not be affected by the volatility of the object being measured. Its beam energy is very low and it can work normally in the industrial frequency band without causing any harm to the human body or the environment. The accuracy and precision of radar level meters are very high. Only through professional installation and correct use can accurate and good measurement results be obtained. Therefore, you need to pay attention to the following issues when installing and using it. 1. Do not install the equipment at the feed port, feed curtain, vortex, etc. When the object being measured is injected, it will generate partial amplitude and cause false echo, resulting in inaccurate data. The vortex will cause irregular liquid levels, affect the scattering of microwave signals, cause signal weakness, and lead to incorrect data, so be careful. 2. The installed container is equipped with a stirrer. During stirring, irregular vortices will be generated, causing signal attenuation, and the blades on the stirrer will also reflect microwave signals, causing false data. Especially when the object being measured has a small relative dielectric constant and reaches a low liquid level, the stirrer will have a serious impact on the data detected by the equipment. Therefore, the radar level meter should be installed away from the vicinity of the stirrer. 3. When facing corrosive and crystallized object liquids, in order to prevent the sensor of the radar level meter from being affected, instrument models equipped with a polytetrafluoroethylene protective film and a split flange structure are generally used. However, the high temperature resistance of the parts is not too high, and PTFE can only reach 200°C. Therefore, in order to avoid the impact of parts on the measurement data, installation requires a certain safety distance between the flange end face and the highest liquid level. 4. If the installed container is a concave or conical shape, then during debugging, you must pay attention to the radar beam reaching the lowest point of the container. If the liquid level of the measured object is lower than the lowest point recorded by the radar beam, it will not be measured. Therefore, the lowest point position must be adjusted as much as possible during installation to ensure the accuracy of the measurement data.
