Yes, process conditions are required. Increasing the number of combustible and toxic gas alarms may affect the stability and accuracy of the entire system. Therefore, the following process conditions need to be considered: 1. Determine the locations for the new combustible and toxic gas alarms, in order to cover the areas where toxic gases are generated as effectively as possible, while avoiding interference with other existing equipment. 2. Ensure consistency in the interconnection protocols and signal transmission between the newly added flammable and toxic gas alarms and the existing equipment. 3. Ensure that parameters such as the detector’s sensitivity, response time, and false alarm rate are consistent with those of the existing system. 4. If any changes are required to existing pipelines, instruments, etc., a comprehensive safety assessment and risk analysis must be conducted, in accordance with relevant safety regulations and standards. .
Toxic probes define their coverage area based on the leakage points; the process should first indicate the areas at risk of leakage, and it would be best to specify exact locations such as flange connections.
Use a VOCs spectral imager to locate the common leakage sources of the device, and provide this information to the instrumentation team so that they can make adjustments based on the locations.
