Enhance quality awareness and promote high-quality development. ----------------------------------------- On August 18, 2023, China Petrochemical’s first pilot project for an intelligent oil depot management system – the Zhanjiang Commercial Storage Intelligent Oil Depot Management System – completed its acceptance review and was put into full operation. Construction of this system officially began in November 2021, and by December 2022, business process analysis, detailed design, development and testing were completed, followed by a trial operation phase. By leveraging next-generation information technologies such as 5G, the Internet of Things, AI intelligence, big data, and Beidou communication, and by integrating more than 10 underlying sensing systems, it is possible to integrate various industrial control systems, video systems, perimeter protection systems, fire protection systems, and other systems together, thereby creating a comprehensive overview of safety conditions in the warehouse area. The establishment of this system provides strong technical support for achieving intrinsic safety in the Zhanjiang commercial storage area, and it also offers a reliable technical platform for local authorities and various levels of Sinopec to carry out joint management and risk prevention.
