Dear experts in the field of weighing sensors, I have a question: is it true that digital weighing sensors now come with a calibration-free function? Has it been used in actual applications? Does the calibration-free function allow for accurate weighing simply by removing the skin layer during use? Please advise, experts!
It’s not real at all. Weighing after removing the skin is one of the most basic functions of a scale. And if the range of the instrument is inaccurate, it needs to be calibrated. Without calibrating the range, how can accurate measurements be taken, right? Go and find out first how exactly their BBs are calibrated without the need for calibration, and what exactly means being exempt from such calibration. There are some idiots who always come up with silly concepts to deceive people.
You need to understand the working principle of load cells. Instruments like these are similar to analytical instruments; they both have a reference point, namely the zero point. The zero drift and linearity of such instruments require regular calibration in order to be corrected. For example, slight deformations of the sensor due to prolonged pressure can cause errors, and the electrical circuitry can also lead to errors over time. There are no instruments that don’t require calibration – errors always exist, it’s just a matter of whether they fall within acceptable limits.
Most of the sensors and instruments I’ve seen that don’t require calibration are pre-calibrated by the manufacturer once they are combined, and then shipped to the customer, who thus doesn’t need to carry out any further calibration.
