On January 10, Nanhua Company’s AI video intelligent supervision platform was put into use. This platform utilizes AI technology to identify various unsafe behaviors at the site and send alert messages, enabling a shift from human-based security to technology-driven security and further improving the company’s safety management standards. In May 2023, the company’s 5G private network was established, achieving full coverage of 5G networks in the company’s production facilities, subsidiaries, as well as ports and railways. Leveraging the high-speed data transmission capabilities of 5G dedicated networks, the company has developed an AI video alarm platform. This platform connects 80 fixed video sources and 80 mobile video terminals, and utilizes 16 different algorithm models as well as image vision analysis techniques to intelligently detect unsafe behaviors such as the failure to wear safety helmets by personnel on site, unauthorized entry into certain areas, the presence of smoke or fire, leaving one’s post, and smoking. Alerts are then sent to relevant management personnel via PC or mobile devices. Managers can promptly correct and control unsafe factors without having to be constantly on-site, which improves the company’s on-site safety management standards and reduces labor costs.
