In Honeywell’s motor blocks, there is a TS pin that serves as a testing option – how is this used? Thank you all. There’s a TS in the upper right corner of this pop-up panel; sometimes it turns red, and in that case the motor won’t start. How can this problem be solved?
This post was last edited by budaoweng123 on 2017-1-18 at 22:40. It seems to be a functional block from MACSV6.5.2, but only MOT1/MOT2/MOT3 and MOTD are listed in the functional block manual. In Allen-Bradley software MACSV5.2.4, TS stands for tracking switch, which is a tracking switch. If it is 1, the function block enters tracking mode.
I can tell you for sure that this is not tracking; it’s a testing option, with 1 indicating testing. . . I already know what’s going on; thank you all. Also, when installing MACSV 6.5.2, there is an option to choose from – one is offline and the other is online. . . . . The engineers told me that I need to change the setting to offline at the lower level. Does anyone have a clear and simple explanation for this? . .
\"Offline\" refers to the parameters modified by the configuration software, while \"Online\" refers to the parameters modified by the monitoring software – such as range, upper limit, and high upper limit, etc
In the configuration software, click on a function block and press F1 to display the help instructions

I*usually choose to select \"invert selection\" for online use first, then \"offline editing\", and proceed with downloading it afterwards
