Our reactor is equipped with a lining coating; the normal surface temperature of the reactor is around 400°C, while the temperature inside the reactor is 600°C. In order to check whether the coating on the reactor has peeled off, we plan to install surface thermometers on the outside of the reactor to monitor this situation. Approximately 60 such thermometers are needed. To reduce costs, remote monitoring from inside the reactor will not be implemented – only on-site display will suffice. Two options have been considered: one is a battery-powered single-point on-site display armored thermocouple, and the other is an inspector-mounted device for centralized display of armored thermocouples. I would like to ask everyone if there are any better solutions or best practices for practical application.
Using inspection devices would be relatively more economical, but the cost of wiring also needs to be taken into account. For 60 points, two or three inspection devices are usually sufficient; each meter costs around two to three hundred, so for 60 points the total cost will still be over ten thousand
Mm, currently we are also considering installing the inspection devices in locations that are close to each other, so that the inspection results can be displayed centrally for easier viewing

It’s better to display the 60 points together. It’s troublesome to use a battery for observation, and it’s even more troublesome to replace the battery. Centralized display can also add alarm functions. On-site centralized display + remote alarm is a cost-effective and practical solution.

These are a batch of temperature resistors with displays that we have provided for the Tianwan nuclear power plant, to replace the original bimetallic thermometers. The battery life is 5 years. On-site, a panel was installed, with all the display dials embedded in it – there are around 30 of them. There are over 60 of them on your end; if each sensor is equipped with a digital display, then a very large panel would be required. People who suffer from agoraphobia might find this unacceptable. It’s better to use inspection devices – after all, the most important feature is the ability to generate alerts. On the other hand, this small system relies too much on inspection devices
