The cables running from the field instruments to the junction box generally use B: seven twisted pairs or R: multiple twisted pairs
Multiple strands twisted together are generally used. .
Generally, a computer main monitor cable is used, with R. DJYVPR. I’ve also seen control cables of the KVVP type used.
If they are all current signals, twisted pair is not necessary; I use 24-core shielded cable to connect from the control cabinet to the explosion-proof junction box at the site, and then separate it using RVVP cable. Twisted pair is used for voltage signals or communication. Of course, there are also many pairs of twisted pairs together.
KVVP is a control cable for hard wiring; flexible cables are generally used instead.
All of them can be used, but in normal design, computer cables use copper cores with fluoroplastic insulation, as well as copper wires for shielding – either individual shielding or overall shielding. The specific model is DJFPF2 ***; digital signals are handled by DJFF ***
