What materials are used for instrument cable trays in chemical enterprises located in coastal areas? I’m wondering whether hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel options are viable. Could those living in coastal areas tell me which type they actually use? How is the corrosion resistance?
Probably no one would go to the expense of using stainless steel; if corrosion is a concern, fiberglass could be considered. Just make sure to do proper grounding!

There’s no need for that; even bridge trays made of carbon steel come with anti-corrosion measures. Bridge tray manufacturers aren’t that stupid as to leave them exposed and prone to rusting
Hot-dip galvanizing is commonly used; stainless steel is expensive. There are also polyester tank boxes, while fiberglass tank boxes tend to age and deform easily.
