The acid and tar discharge pipe of the ammonium sulfate saturator is opened; the valve for discharging acid and tar does not function properly, and only gas is discharged from the outlet – no mother liquor is released. The level in the flow tank does not rise, and the acid and tar pipe is not hot (at normal temperature). Under normal conditions, when the valve for discharging acid and tar is opened, the entire pipe becomes hot, with a temperature of around 50 degrees. After adding acid in large quantities, the tar containing acid can be discharged normally. If no such acid addition is carried out for an extended period, the pressure at the outlet of the main mother liquor pump decreases along with the current, but after a couple of days, the problem of being unable to discharge the acid-containing tar reoccurs. Also, usually acid tar has foam instead of an oily texture, making it difficult to extract the mother liquor, which is black in color. Please help analyze the specific reasons and preventive measures.
