On October 30, 2024, all four newly constructed pure oxygen gasifiers at Tianze Group’s coal gasification plant were put into operation. The resulting qualified water gas was fed into the production system, ensuring a safe and successful initial startup. Image: This represents another significant achievement in the company’s pure oxygen oxidation upgrade project, following the full completion and operation of Yongfeng Company’s similar upgrade. It marks a crucial step forward in the construction of gasification upgrade projects at coal gasification plants, laying a solid foundation for accelerating the development of subsequent projects. In recent years, Tianze Group has carried out comprehensive upgrades to pure oxygen oxidation at Yongfeng Company and the gasification plant. In July 2024, the pure oxygen oxidation upgrade project of Yongfeng Company was fully completed and put into operation. The upgrading of the gasification plants is carried out in a phased manner: the four new oxygen-based gasifiers were put into operation first, followed by the gradual commissioning of the additional oxygen-based gasifiers that were built later. Next, all the project personnel will continue to work hard on the upgrade project for pure-oxygen gasification at the coal gasification plant, in order to deliver an excellent result to the municipal party committee and government as well as all staff members.
