Half of the sulfur produced in our desulfurization sulfur melting tank is sulfur slag – what should we do?

We use picric acid as a catalyst for desulfurization, but half of the output from the sulfur melting tank is sulfur slag; this slag contains about 70% sulfur and the rest is carbon, giving it a black color. What should we do?

That means there is insufficient sulfur; without sulfur, it’s not possible to produce it, and the slag cannot be converted into sulfur. Find out the source of the slag and the reasons for its formation.

This post was last edited by Gao Yunguan on 2017-8-15 at 17:00. Gas is pretty dirty, right? Is a continuous reactor or an intermittent reactor being used? If it’s a continuous reactor, it might be due to poor separation effects; is the clear liquid also a bit cloudy?
