What is the difference between gasification filter cake and gasification fine slag? Please give me some advice
The gasification filter cake is fine sludge; it is obtained by pumping the high-concentration slurry at the bottom of the sedimentation tank to a vacuum belt filter, where dehydration takes place through vacuum filtration to form the filter cake.
Oh, thank you. But in one manufacturer’s tender for slag transportation, it specified the amount of fine slag in **tons** and the amount of filter cake in **tons**; it seems that fine slag and filter cake are different things, which confuses people.
If that is the case, the fine slag mentioned is very likely to be the slag produced by the slag skimmer – the substance that we generally refer to as coarse slag
Fine sludge is obtained through filtration by a filter, while the filter cake is produced by pressing in a filter press
The filter cake produced by the filters nowadays has a particularly high moisture content. I wonder if this is a problem that all units are facing at the moment? Would using a diaphragm filter press instead of a vacuum filter give better results? Are there any units that are currently using filter presses? Provide a place to go and investigate.
