Coal coking gas production: How many operating conditions are there for gasification? How is it distinguished? Why? I’m a newcomer to coal chemical engineering and there are many things I don’t understand. I can’t find information on these topics even when searching on Baidu; I hope experts can offer some guidance.
Is syngas produced from coke or from coke oven gas?
The best method for producing gas from coal coke is the moving bed process. Since it is already semi-coke, the cost of producing coal coke using other fluidized bed or gas flow bed methods is higher, and the reaction within the furnace is not as good as that with coal.
