In order to promote the optimization and upgrading of the manufacturing sector, foster innovative industrial development and technological progress, and further advance the high-quality development of the coal chemical industry, the 10th National Conference on Water-Coal Slurry Gasification Technology for 2021 was held in Weinan on May 13. Organized by the magazine “Nitrogen Fertilizers and Synthesis Gas,” the National Committee for the Development of New Gasification Technologies, and Shanghai Chemical Research Co., Ltd., with the support of Shaanxi Chemical Corporation and its strategic partnership network “Gasification Circle,” this conference lasted for 2 days. By relying on the technical guidance and support provided by industry associations and research institutions, the company has strengthened cooperation with universities and colleges, made extensive use of new technologies and materials, and continuously carried out technological upgrades to improve the efficiency of its facilities. These efforts have helped to achieve more efficient and energy-saving operations; in 2019, the company’s comprehensive energy consumption for ammonia synthesis ranked third in the national petrochemical industry. During the conference, Shaanxi Chemical Industry Company organized a professional technical team to attend the meetings and discussion sessions; Liu Huawei, the deputy director of the Gasification Plant, delivered a presentation titled \"Sharing Experience in the Stable and Optimized Operation of Gasification Processes\". On the afternoon of the 14th, the participating delegates visited the company for inspection, learning, and exchanges, and went to the gasification unit for on-site observation. Throughout the entire observation process, the comprehensive presentation and promotion of the company’s image, technology, products, and services received unanimous praise from the attendees and experts.
