The water content is around 20%. When the sample is heated to 105°C and it starts to boil, what should be done? It’s a 60-ton horizontal tank filled with heat transfer oil that needs to be heated

If the temperature rises too much, it can easily cause the water to vaporize and boil; in open equipment at atmospheric pressure, this will lead to boiling. My suggestion is to use the difference in density for dehydration – this should make it easy to achieve a moisture content of less than 5%. If the densities are similar, apply appropriate heating, but avoid reaching the boiling point

The main issue is that visible water cannot be seen; one can only use gas to stir things around and cause evaporation. The resulting visible water is difficult to handle
I want to be extra cautious: start at around 85 degrees and heat for 10 hours to measure the moisture level. If the moisture is low, increase the temperature to around 150 degrees; if there’s already a lot of moisture, use a temperature above 90 degrees
