Currently, the main method for producing acid through desulfurization is the WSA process involving gas-phase feed combustion； There is also the sulfur slurry incineration method, with successful implementation cases available.
The 93.98% sulfuric acid produced almost caused problems – it was difficult to sell due to high levels of impurities, and adjusting its pH value wasn’t possible
The corrosion is quite severe; even 916L cannot withstand it for long. Treating it with dilute acid poses a problem, and further neutralization is required. The waste residue is sent to brick factories for sale
