During the detailed design review of the project, there are several questions regarding which I would like to consult with all of you: 1: What is the reason for installing a heater for the burner cooling water? What operating conditions can cause a low temperature in the burner cooling water? What are the hazards of low burner cooling water temperature? 2: Regarding the pressure control at the top of the accident burner cooling water tank, is it possible that the failure of the downstream vent valve led to the shutdown of the gasification furnace? 3: The burner cooling water is a closed-positive-pressure system; is it necessary to install two filters at the pump outlet?
This needs to be studied carefully*. Is the pressure set for the emergency water tank the same as that of the coal-water slurry? The emergency water tank maintains a certain pressure to protect the burners in emergency situations. A filter is designed for the pump outlet; if you can afford it, going with one isn’t a bad idea, right? Heater; I’m not sure if there is a cooler at the outlet of the cold water pump for the burner. They all take away heat after entering the burner, so the temperature of the burner’s cooling water shouldn’t drop, right? I don’t know how to learn* it.
There is a slight difference: the pressure in the accident cooling water tank is higher than that in the gasification furnace. This is mainly because of leaks in the burners, with the fluid leaking directly into the gasification furnace; there is no need to check for carbon monoxide as with refractory bricks
1. There’s no heater for boiling cold water, right! Was it maybe in the original design? A temperature of 120 degrees is sufficient for the water in the middle tank; we have not encountered any situation where the temperature was too low. 2. Over the past three years of operation, there has been no instance of the machine shutting down due to this issue. 3. In the past, there were situations where the cooling water volume was insufficient, requiring the use of two filters; however, these filters are not switched during normal operation

It is above the pressure of the gasifier, so there’s no need to worry about leaks into the gasifier, as it has a coiled water-cooled wall
If there is a leak, can the vehicle still be driven normally? How severe is the leak – is it necessary to stop the vehicle?
Personal opinion: 1. The heater is not used on a regular basis; in the winters of northern regions, issues such as inadequate insulation of the pipelines can cause the temperature of the circulating cooling water to drop too low, which in turn affects the temperature of oxygen/steam inside the jacket. That’s why a heater was installed, but it is rarely used in practice; 2. There is a possibility that the system may shut down due to the inability to maintain pressure caused by valve issues; however, the medium in this area is very clean, and this valve is not operated frequently during operation. By using a more reliable valve, this problem should be avoidable ; 3. During operation, our plant has experienced high filter pressure differences, which may be caused by poor quality of boiler water or other factors. Under normal circumstances, this system is quite clean, and the filters are used very rarely.
If it’s in the north, a cooling water heater should be necessary
