Recently, the gasification unit of Panjin Haoye’s 200,000 standard cubic meters per hour coal-to-hydrogen plant, constructed by the fifth branch of Shiliu Hua Jian, completed the installation of its waste heat boiler. The waste heat boiler has a diameter of 4 meters and a height of 40 meters, with a net weight of 526 tons. The project team uses a 1,250-ton crawler crane as the main lifting equipment, with the assistance of a 400-ton crawler crane for supplementary lifting. This lifting task is time-sensitive and quite challenging, involving the welding of two fixing ring seats on the equipment, as well as aligning the equipment with the lower spinal segment after it has been unloaded. The successful lifting of the waste heat boiler marks the completion of the final axis in the gasification framework of the core area of the entire coal-to-hydrogen plant, laying a solid foundation for meeting the target deadline of May 31st. On April 5, the waste heat boiler for the Panjin Haoye coal-to-hydrogen plant with a capacity of 200,000 standard cubic meters per hour, which was developed, designed, and manufactured by Lanshi Heavy Equipment, was completed and shipped. This is the vertical water/fire tube combined waste heat boiler with the largest processing capacity in China at present. The boiler has a diameter of 3800 millimeters and a height of 39200 millimeters, and is composed of four parts: Fire Tube Furnace I, Superheater, Fire Tube Furnace II, and Economizer. This waste heat boiler is composed of fire-tube furnace I, superheater, fire-tube furnace II, and economizer. It is the vertical water/fire-tube combined waste heat boiler with the largest processing capacity in China at present. It represents another key piece of equipment, following the gasifier, as part of the pressurized circulating fluidized bed gasification process package promoted jointly by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Lansi Research Institute – an equipment set in which this boiler is also one of the two core components. It is understood that the 200,000 standard cubic meters per hour coal-to-hydrogen plant built by Panjin Haoye was designed by Ruize Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Lanshi Heavy Equipment Group, while Lanshi Heavy Equipment Group was responsible for the EPC overall project management and the manufacturing of the core equipment; the technology for pressurized fluidized bed coal gasification was provided by Lanshi Research Institute. This technology was jointly developed by Lansi Research Institute and the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the first domestic demonstration unit of this technology has been put into use in the Lansi Gold Chemistry project. The application of Lanshi’s coal-to-gas technology in the Panjin Haoye coal-to-hydrogen project represents an important step for Lanshi Heavy Equipment in transitioning from traditional equipment manufacturing to providing comprehensive solution services. It lays a solid foundation for the replication and market promotion of circulating fluidized bed pressurized gasification technology, and will play a key role in advancing the development of technologies for the clean and efficient utilization of low-grade coal.
