The Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy and Clean, Efficient Comprehensive Utilization of Coal project (referred to as Phase II) is a major project of the Zhengyuan Group, and it also attracts considerable attention within the coal chemical or petrochemical industries. The designed capacity of the second-phase project is to produce 600 million Nm3 of hydrogen per year; in order to maintain a stable supply of hydrogen, ammonia and urea are also produced as by-products. The production capacity for ammonia is 300,000 tons per year, while that for urea is 520,000 tons per year. This project is being carried out in an orderly manner under the leadership and supervision of Zhengyuan Group. The first phase mainly involves air separation, gasification, and purification. After several discussions with Beijing Aerospace Company, the two parties have now reached an agreement on the terms of the construction contract; the next step will be to sign the contract ； The second section mainly involves ammonia synthesis, urea production, as well as auxiliary facilities (including service facilities). An open tender was held for this section on April 22, and China Fifth Ring Engineering Co., Ltd. was the winning bidder; the contract signing process is currently underway in an orderly manner ； The third phase mainly involves the expansion of the 110KV substation, and work on this phase will be carried out in stages later on. On May 24th and 25th, the relevant departments of Zhengyuan Group, along with Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy, held two days of detailed discussions in the conference room on the third floor of the headquarters regarding the tender documents for the project supervision of Phase II. The aim was to ensure that these documents were thorough and standardized, so that they could be published online by the end of May. This would allow for the selection of a supervision company at the earliest possible time, thereby preparing thoroughly for the commencement of Phase II projects.
