Recently, the clean and energy-saving upgrading project for coal gasification at Hebei Tianyuan Chemical Industry was jointly inspected and accepted by experts and leaders from the Urban Construction Bureau and Quality Inspection Bureau of Quyang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, as well as by senior managers and technical personnel from relevant construction units, supervision units, construction contractors, equipment manufacturers, and testing agencies. The acceptance team jointly inspected the site, carefully checked the fire protection facilities on site as well as the construction drawings, carried out on-site acceptance and functional tests of the fire protection facilities, and ultimately the project passed the fire protection acceptance successfully. The total investment in the gasification upgrade and transformation project of Hebei Tianyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. amounts to 234.8 million yuan. The project is located within the premises of Tianyuan Chemical Plant in the Circular Economy Industrial Park, Quyang County, Hebei Province. ◎ The project uses pulverized coal as raw material and employs a combined operation of fluidized bed and gas fluidized bed systems; it involves the construction of two sets of 45 m3/t circulating fluidized bed gasification systems, one set of 20 m3/t gas fluidized bed gasification system, along with the corresponding supporting facilities. ◎ The coal gasification unit includes a raw coal crushing and conveying system, a fluidized-bed coal gasification system, a gas-flow bed coal gasification system, a pneumatic conveying system, a water treatment system, an air separation system, a DCS/SIS control system, etc. ◎ The project utilizes the clean coal gasification technology (Keda furnace) developed by Anhui Keda Clean Energy Co., Ltd., which holds independent intellectual property rights. This is the first application of this technology in the ammonia synthesis industry, providing a completely new coal gasification technology and process for the modernization of small- and medium-sized ammonia production facilities. Upon completion of the project, the clean gas produced by the facility can replace the conventional fixed-bed gas as the feed gas for ammonia synthesis units. This not only improves the overall utilization rate of coal but also reduces the production costs of the feed gas, providing a solid foundation for the long-term development of the enterprise.
