Dear Yanzu and Zhiling, I have a question from a newcomer: how long is the service life of the mother liquor pump and crystalization pump made of 316L material in a saturator? What about those with plastic lining? Our main mother liquor pump is lined with 316L plastic, and the casing perforated in less than half a year. The small mother liquor pump is an engineering plastic pump; at present, there’s no issue with the casing, but the bearings and shaft sleeves are wearing out quickly.

You mean that crystallization causes significant wear on the lining, right? But the casing is made of 316L – shouldn’t that be sufficient to prevent such issues?
