What causes the mist to cover the firebox?

Open the viewing port cover of the downward airflow vertical flue; it’s covered in mist, making it impossible to see the lamp brick and the inclined passage opening. What could be the reason?
In case of incomplete combustion, reduce the amount of gas or increase the opening degree of the air inlet, and adjust the suction force accordingly based on the temperature
