Construction Contents: The crude oil processing capacity of Golmud Refinery will be increased from 1.5 million tons per year to 2.2 million tons per year. The vacuum distillation unit will be upgraded (with its capacity expanded from 1.5 million tons per year to 2.2 million tons per year). A new delayed coking unit with a capacity of 600,000 tons per year will be built. The 900,000-ton-per-year heavy oil catalytic cracking unit, the 330,000-ton-per-year catalytic reforming unit, and the 200,000-ton-per-year dry gas/liquefied gas desulfurization and dewaxing units will also be upgraded. In addition, all the supporting storage, transportation, utility, and auxiliary systems within the refinery will be renovated. Progress milestone: April 10, 2026.
