The moisture content of coal blend has an impact on subsequent coking and chemical production processes{:2_30:}
I work in gasification; I’ll share what little I know, in the hope of sparking further discussion. An increase in moisture leads to higher energy consumption, and since more moisture is present, the amount of wastewater generated after cooling also increases
The moisture content of the coal blend affects its bulk density; it also has an impact on the coal transportation system, as there is a risk of coal collapse in processes such as ramming for coking； Increase the system’s energy consumption, raise the temperature to 1050 degrees, and then lower it back to room temperature ； An increase in the volume of water and wastewater has an adverse effect on the biochemical system, and so on.
