Why aren’t foreign DMMN technologies, which were developed earlier and are more mature, put into large-scale production? And why is the domestic DMMN industry, with its late development and newer technology, still attracting so much interest?
There’s a lot of talk but little action; many people watch, few take action, and there’s no real rush to get involved.
Is there mature technology for this abroad? It seems to be still at the laboratory stage only.
Let me explain here; I am aware of the whole situation:
Abroad, countries such as Germany have already conducted similar fundamental research, but it has not been industrialized. Because this reaction system is relatively complex, the conversion rate is low ; Abroad, the quality of crude oil is better; as a result, the quality of the oil produced by refineries is guaranteed and can easily meet higher emission standards. In contrast, we import mostly heavy-grade oil, and even after refining, the quality of the oil still does not meet current standards. If refineries were to undergo major upgrades, oil production would decrease and prices would inevitably rise again, which is beyond our current economic capacity. The best solution is oil blending, as it is the most cost-effective approach. Furthermore, another fundamental characteristic of our country is fog; this phenomenon has persisted for many years without any sign of diminishing. All efforts to address it have been unsuccessful. DMMn is an oxygen-containing fuel that proves effective in reducing particulate matter in vehicle exhaust emissions. Therefore, the development of this product in our country is also influenced by the country’s specific conditions. Such a situation does not exist abroad, so there is no need for them to develop such a chemical industry.
