Issues with the reform of the gas generation system in 100,000 tons/year methanol production projects: Domestic small-scale methanol plants currently use atmospheric-pressure batch gasification for gas generation, which results in high levels of environmental emissions and severe pollution. Can it be modified for continuous oxygen gasification?
Pure oxygen continuous gasification is said to be possible for modification, but the investment is substantial.
