The launch ceremony for Inner Mongolia Jutai New Materials Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 1 million tons of ethylene glycol per year was held on September 29th. Yun Guangzhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and Secretary of the Hohhot Municipal Party Committee; Feng Yuzhen, Deputy Secretary of the Hohhot Municipal Party Committee, Acting Mayor, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Helingeer New Area in Inner Mongolia; Sun Jianguo, Deputy Director of the Hohhot People’s Congress and Deputy Head of the Coordination Leadership Group for the Development of the Tuoking Economic Development Zone; Guo Zhigang, Secretary of the Tuoketuo County Party Committee; and Cui Lianguo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Jutai Group, attended the launch ceremony to kick off the project. At the launch ceremony, Chairman Cui Lianguo said that thanks to the strong support from ** authorities at all levels and colleagues from various sectors, the project has been able to progress efficiently. In the future, the project will be carried out in accordance with the principles of \"planning at a high level, designing to high standards, and constructing at high speed.\" Jiu Tai will work together with China Energy and Aerospace Engineering to organize tasks carefully, strengthen management, accelerate the construction progress, enhance the overall strength of the enterprise, build an outstanding energy and chemical enterprise, and achieve both economic and social benefits. Inner Mongolia JiuTai New Materials Co., Ltd. was registered and established in March 2017. The project is located in the western area of the Tuoketuo Industrial Park, covering a total area of 2,050 mu, with a total investment of 11.7 billion yuan. The project construction period is 3 years, with completion and operation scheduled for 2020. The project’s capacity is 1 million tons of ethylene glycol per year. On September 20, the project’s water resources assessment report was approved ； On September 17, the project completed the review of its environmental report ； On September 10, JiuTai Group, Aerospace Changzheng, and China Energy Engineering signed a framework agreement for cooperation in industrial gases for this project; the three parties will work together on aspects such as project technology, solution development, project construction, investment cooperation, and factory operation. On September 5, the engineering design contract for Inner Mongolia Jiutai New Materials Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 1 million tons of ethylene glycol per year was signed. Cui Lianguo, Chairman of Jiutai Group, Wu Yinlong, Chairman of Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., and Jiang Congbin, General Manager of Aerospace Changzheng Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd., jointly signed the engineering design contract on behalf of the three parties. The contract scope includes all process units other than the air separation unit, gasification unit, shift unit, and low-temperature methanol washing unit, as well as the utility systems, auxiliary facilities, and the overall project design. Leaders from relevant entities such as Hohhot City, the Management Committee of Helinger New Area, and the Coordination Leading Group for the Construction and Development of Tuoking Economic Development Zone; relevant leaders from the four main leadership bodies of Tuoketuo County; relevant leaders from the Qingshuihe County Party Committee, the government, and the Political Consultative Conference; leaders from the Management Committee of Tuoketuo Industrial Park; leaders from various relevant departments in Tuoketuo County; representatives from over 40 cooperative units and construction companies; as well as more than 150 employee representatives attended the ceremony.
