Should each tower be pressurized to a different level and then the start button be pressed? Thank you!
Before driving, fill it with nitrogen to maintain a certain pressure and confirm that the process is normal; then press the PSA start button to initiate automatic operation; Once the transformed gas analysis shows satisfactory results, the PSA unit is connected to the gas supply. However, before connecting it to the process gas, it is necessary to shut down the venting process downstream of the PSA unit and ensure that the vacuum pump is operating properly.
In reality, there are two operating modes for PSA: operation at atmospheric pressure and operation under pressurized conditions. For commissioning of the unit or when restarting after a long period of shutdown, it is recommended to operate at atmospheric pressure; this means maintaining a slight positive pressure in each tower, starting the PSA process, and then introducing the feed gas. This approach helps reduce the risk of safety accidents caused by issues with the pipelines or the process itself. However, it takes longer for the product gas from the adsorption phase to meet the required standards. If it is a temporary stop followed by resumption of operation, pressurization can be used to start up, with the advantage of being able to obtain product gas more quickly.
If the programmable valve has no internal leakage, it can be started directly after a temporary shutdown
