Recently, the project carried out by Shaanxi Huajian Engineering Company in Shanxi’s Jinmei Huayu area has reached its final stages. The project includes the civil engineering and installation works for the purification and synthesis phases, the civil engineering and installation works for the second batch of coal storage and transportation facilities for raw and fuel coal, as well as the construction and installation work for the water treatment substation of the MTG unit, the substation in the plant area, and the 35kV substation for synthetic oil. To date, all of the civil engineering and installation work for the second batch of the coal storage and transportation project has been completed, with the only exceptions being minor changes related to fire protection works. The construction and installation work for the water treatment control room of the MTG unit, the substation in the plant area, and the 35kV substation for synthetic oil has now been completed, and these facilities are ready for handover; procedures for final acceptance are currently in progress ； The civil works and steel structure for Sections 1, 2, and 3 of the purification and synthesis projects have been fully completed. The installation work for equipment, pipelines, and electrical instruments has also met the mechanical completion requirements set by the owner. All pipeline pressure testing has been finished, and efforts are currently being made in coordination with the owner to carry out pipeline purging and equipment commissioning. It is reported that the civil engineering and installation works for Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Shanxi Jinmei Huayu project represent the core components of the entire project; these include synthesis and syngas compression units. The main volume of work involved includes 3,000 cubic meters of concrete, over 1,300 tons of steel structures, and 2,900 square meters of blast walls ； 21 stationary units, including the heaviest unit, the methanol synthesis tower weighing 404 tons, and 10 movable units, including 1 syngas compressor, with 5,700 meters of pipelines ； Electrical cable 24,000 meters, instrument cable 49,000 meters, and other work related to electrical instrumentation installation. The new integrated demonstration project for the clean utilization of high-sulfur coal in the fields of power generation and heating, operated by Shanxi Jinmei Huayu Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the integrated project), is located in the Beiliuzhoucun Industrial Park in Jincheng City. It was approved for registration by the Shanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission under document number Jin Fa Gai Bei 336. Saiding Engineering Co., Ltd. prepared the environmental impact assessment report for this project, and the Shanxi Provincial Environmental Protection Department issued its approval for this report via document number Jin Huan Han 80. The integrated project is carried out in phases; initially, a methanol plant with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons will be built, at an investment cost of approximately 5.95 billion yuan.
