The pressure of the purification system is at the normal value of 3.4 MPa, while the pressure at the inlet of the methanol synthesis compressor is 3.2 MPa; this is also the case when the system is operating at full load. Why then couldn’t the methanol synthesis process increase its capacity today, and why did the pressure at the outlet of the shift system rise to such an extent that the relief valve automatically opened?
It’s not a blockage issue; it’s a composition issue, right?
