Author/Source: Date: 2018-04-13 Clicks: 6 Recently, review meetings for the pulverized coal gasification process package, the low-temperature methanol washing process package, and the synthesis process package for the 900,000-ton-per-year methanol production unit were held respectively at Shell China’s headquarters in Beijing and Air Liquide Engineering’s headquarters in Germany. Leaders from Shaanxi Changqing Energy Chemical Co., Ltd., Donghua Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., Shell Global Solutions International Private Limited, and Air Liquide Global Engineering Technologies Germany GmbH, along with relevant technical personnel from all parties, attended the review. The company conducted a thorough review of the initial process package documents submitted by the patent holder, and held detailed discussions on various issues related to those in the process package, including plant layout diagrams, key equipment such as gasifiers and synthesis towers, as well as processes and instrumentation/control systems; a consensus was reached, resulting in complete success. The successful holding of the review meetings for the three process packages marks the final confirmation of the design for these packages in the second-phase methanol project, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent stage of basic project design.
