Detection issues in desulfurization using ammonia as a base source

Recently, I encountered a situation where the hydrogen sulfide levels at the outlet showed almost no variation over the course of a year (the difference was within 1 mg/m3). Moreover, when sampling, white turbidity appeared after just ten measurements were taken (using the zinc acetate method). What could be the cause of this?
Adding an acid bottle at the front of the sampling port to absorb it eliminates this phenomenon; it is suspected that ammonia is the cause of this effect.
