May I ask everyone, has anyone seen static mixers used in process flow modifications? It is located between the boiler feedwater nozzle and the reactor, where the water and the reformate gas are thoroughly mixed.
Static mixers are indeed useful, but those used in our company were damaged twice, which caused high pressure differences in the system and prevented an adequate load from being applied. In the end, they had to be completely removed; they were useless, as there was a deviation in the temperature at the inlet of the converter
