**NDRC: Projects for the production of green methanol and sustainable aviation fuel will receive support from central government funds. On October 14, the **NDRC issued a notice regarding the implementation of the \"Special Management Measures for Central Budgetary Investments in Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction\". The document states that this special support is intended for projects related to the production of green methanol and sustainable aviation fuel. Regarding the funding criteria, the support rate for projects in key industry sectors such as those aimed at energy conservation and carbon reduction, projects for clean alternatives to coal consumption, projects that leverage the circular economy to reduce carbon emissions, and demonstration projects for low-carbon, zero-carbon, or negative-carbon outcomes is 20% of the total approved investment amount. For carbon peak and carbon neutrality capacity-building projects funded by local governments, the project support ratios in the eastern, central, western, and northeastern regions are 60%, 70%, 80%, and 80% of the approved total investment, respectively. Relevant projects of central and **government agencies are, in principle, fully funded.
