In winter in the north, when parking areas need to be purified, how can one check whether the pipelines of methanol distillation units have frozen?
After parking, dry gas should be used to blow clean any areas within the equipment’s pipes and valves where crystallized material may have accumulated. Such processing is also required before enabling the device. If the freezing point is checked now, in areas where crystalline deposits may form at lower temperatures (such as bare pipes without insulation), water at room temperature should be poured along those areas; since steam from water at non-freezing temperatures takes longer to evaporate, the freezing point is reached relatively more quickly. These home-made tricks are provided for reference only. :lol
