How can instrument technicians learn the process well?

I have been working in instrumentation for 2 years now, and I want to learn more about purification processes. I’m not sure how to create a learning plan – what should I look at first and what later?
One of the aspects learned in the instrumentation role is related to processes – namely, the processes involved in circuits and gas systems. In chemical process operations, processes are also the most important element. Start with the process, going through the equipment and valves involved, as well as their principles, all the way to the principle of the entire process. Then, by adding in the control points for each instrument, the process conditions for each section become known. By combining the mechanical knowledge of each power device in the connection part, you can gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire system.
Dedicate oneself to work, face problems optimistically, increase interest, and identify shortcomings!
