It is reported that shipments improved during the holiday period; In the Wen’an area, many people are waiting to see what happens ; The reference price in the Tangshan area remains stable at 2,200 yuan per ton. The methanol market in Henan remains stable, with some companies negotiating prices around 2100–2130 yuan per ton. It is also reported that traders in Luoyang are quoting prices around 2,080–2,090 yuan per ton. The methanol market in Shanxi region has softened slightly, with prices dropping by 20 yuan to range between 1,930 and 2,020 yuan per ton. Jincheng’s price remains stable around 2,000–2,020 yuan per ton, with a tendency toward lower levels ; Linfen’s price dropped by 20 yuan, to around 1,930–1,950 yuan per ton, remaining in the mid-to-low range ; In Yuncheng, the mainstream price is 1,990 yuan per ton, which is 20 yuan less ; The latest bidding price in the Lüliang area is 1,960 yuan per ton ; The retail price in Changzhi is 50 yuan per ton, or 2,000 yuan per ton. The methanol market in the Hubei and Hunan regions is weakening; in Hubei, the prevailing negotiation price is 2270–2300 yuan per ton, which represents the ex-factory prices of major manufacturers at the lower end, while Wuhan-based traders offer prices for the higher-end products ; In the Hunan region, some negotiation prices are around 2,400–2,450 yuan per ton, with most of these quotes coming from traders in Changsha. The methanol market in Anhui remains stable; at the start of the week, companies offered few quotes, and a cautious attitude prevailed. The main selling price offered by some companies was around 2230–2240 yuan per ton on an acceptance basis. The methanol market in the southwest region is stable; some new prices have not yet been determined. At present, major manufacturers in Sichuan and Chongqing are selling their product at around 2150–2250 yuan per ton ; Affected by the surrounding market conditions, some traders in Sichuan and Chongqing are discussing prices around 2,200–2,250 yuan per ton.
