Recently, in our company’s methanol water solubility tests, when a flashlight was shone on them, glowing crystals were observed inside. What is the reason for this? Has a test been conducted to determine the water solubility? What’s the reason for this! Could that expert please explain it?

If it affects the clarity of the appearance, that’s unacceptable. If water solubility is the only likely cause, the pre-treatment was not thorough enough. Where should the extraction water for the pre-tower be added? If it is in a reflux tank or similar, has the reflux tank been equipped with a overflow system to remove alkanes? Is the secondary condensation temperature too low? Is the pre-tata reactor temperature too low? Was too little extraction water added? If it is a atmospheric pressure tower, two factors need to be considered. Where is it connected when venting the reflux tank of the atmospheric pressure tower? If it is a torch, it might be due to backflow of torch gas. By controlling the prognosis density and paying attention to overflow, things should get better. Try not to go below 0.815 (the optimal empirical value from multiple experiments on methanol distillation in millions of tons). If it are solid particles, could it be that paraffin was carried along?
