Due to active purchasing by downstream users in the past, local manufacturers currently have low inventory levels, which is driving further price increases； The reference price in the Tangshan area remains stable at 2,000 yuan per ton. The methanol market in Henan remains stable, with some transactions in northern Henan at around 2150 yuan per ton. It is also reported that traders in Luoyang are quoting around 2,150 yuan per ton. The methanol market in Shanxi region continued to rise, with the mainstream ex-plant price reaching 2,000–2,100 yuan per ton. The price in Jincheng rose by 50-60 yuan, reaching 2050-2060 yuan per ton ； The local mainstream price in Linfen has risen to 2,020–2,030 yuan per ton ； There is not much supply in the Yuncheng area; the local market price is 2,050 yuan per ton, an increase of 50 yuan ； Auction price in the Lüliang area: 1,990 yuan per ton ； The retail price in the Changzhi area is 2,100 yuan per ton. Methanol producers in northern Shandong are seeing decent sales, while the ex-plant prices in central and eastern Shandong have risen by 50 yuan to around 2180–2300 yuan per ton ； Traders have become slightly more flexible in their attitudes; traders in nearby areas such as Dongying and Zibo are offering prices of 2100–2150 yuan per ton, while the actual transaction prices are around 2100 yuan per ton. The methanol market in Anhui region has seen a slight increase; market activity is fairly decent, with some companies selling their product at around 2300–2310 yuan per ton on an acceptance basis. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region remains stable; in Hubei, the prevailing negotiation price is 2,300–2,350 yuan per ton, which represents the ex-plant prices of major manufacturers at the lower end, while some traders in Wuhan offer prices at the higher end ； In the Hunan region, some negotiation prices are around 2,450–2,500 yuan per ton, with most of these quotes coming from traders in Changsha. The spot market for methanol in Fujian region is seeing an upward trend; dealers in Quangang and Xiamen are quoting prices between 2470-2480 yuan per ton, with a fairly positive market atmosphere.
