The methanol market in Henan region is declining; some companies are negotiating prices around 2,030–2,100 yuan per ton, with transactions lean ing towards the mid-to-low end of this range. It is also understood that traders in Luoyang are quoting around 2,040–2,050 yuan per ton. The trend of the methanol market in Shanxi is moderate, with the prevailing price ranging from 1,900 to 2,000 yuan per ton. The mainstream price in Jincheng is around 1,970 yuan per ton; lower prices are also available ； The mainstream price in Linfen is around 1,910 yuan per ton ； The mainstream price in Yuncheng is 1,930 yuan per ton ； The retail price in Changzhi is 2,020 yuan per ton ； The Lüliang region mainly executes prior contracts. Methanol producers in northern Shandong are facing poor sales performance; the prevailing ex-plant prices in central and eastern Shandong range around 2,080–2,140 yuan per ton, with some areas still seeing lower prices ； Traders in nearby areas such as Dongying and Zibo have offered prices of 2,020–2,080 yuan per ton, with a moderate level of transaction activity.
