It can be included or not, as the vent from the deaerator contains waste steam at very low pressure; if the pipes are large enough, no whistling sound will occur
If the standards are exceeded, a silencer must be installed; it is made from stainless steel with a thickness of around 5 mm, with the exact thickness determined by the pressure, to form a sieve cylinder 5–10 mm thick. The top of this cylinder is sealed, and an additional sleeve is placed on top, along with a conical cover to prevent rain from getting in. The high-speed gas entering the steam pipe through the screen cylinder and spreading outward can achieve a noise-damping effect. A gap of about 50 mm should be left between the cylinders as a buffer for air flow. You can contact the manufacturer of the deaerator and ask them to provide it. It’s a bit difficult to make stainless steel by oneself. For reference.
Pressure is 0.2 MPA; there are 3 DN50 vents on site, and the noise level is also quite high
Given this pressure and pipe diameter, it’s better to install a silencer. The pressure in our deaerator is only 20 kPa, and the vent pipe has a diameter of DN150; therefore, no silencer was installed
