My workshop has a condensate return system, and because a large amount of steam is carried along with the condensate, a significant amount of steam is released from the top of this system, resulting in waste. Additionally, the condensate return pump often gets damaged due to cavitation caused by a large amount of vapor in the water. We are now preparing to address this issue by injecting cold desalinated water into the return water system, thereby lowering the water temperature in that system and reducing steam loss. At the same time, the injected desalinated water is sent to the deaeration station, where the residual heat from the non-condensable steam is utilized. Could someone with expertise in this field come up with a fancy name for this project to use in the documentation?
