Is it necessary to heat the carbonyl sulfide hydrolysis catalyst before using it?
If there are no special requirements, it’s sufficient to heat it up together with the system! Please refer to the instructions for your catalyst or consult the manufacturer for advice!
Let’s see if you’re using a room-temperature hydrolyzer If it is a mesophilic hydrolyzer, heating is definitely required.
It is best to raise the temperature to remove physically adsorbed water or chemically bound water
Heating is required; once normal operation is achieved, the operating temperature should generally be at least 20°C above the dew point temperature.
