On September 12, the Chifeng Keshiketeng Industrial Park organized a meeting to discuss the 150,000 t/a green methanol project. Relevant departments such as industrial parks, development and reform agencies, and investment promotion offices, together with the responsible officials from Chifeng Boyuan Technology Co., Ltd. and China National Machinery Industry Corporation Group Limited, held in-depth discussions on developing a green methanol project based on Chifeng Boyuan’s 150,000 tons per year methanol production facility. Practical exchanges were carried out on key issues such as project planning, industrial collaboration, policy support, and local cooperation, resulting in initial intentions for cooperation. During the talks, Su Hongjin, the head of the Northern region at China National Machinery Industry Corporation, introduced the company’s development strategy and the basic concepts behind the project. He said that Kesikteng Banner boasts abundant natural resources, significant geographical advantages, and a solid industrial foundation, making it an ideal location for developing the green alcohol industry. The company plans to leverage the abundant wind and solar resources in Keqi to develop a large-scale green alcohol industry, and explore a development model of \"green electricity + energy-intensive industries\". Wang Hong, chairman of Chifeng Boyuan Technology Company, provided a detailed introduction to the company’s methanol production facilities as well as its strategies for industrial transformation and development. He also had in-depth discussions with relevant personnel regarding the conditions necessary for implementing the green alcohol project. Gao Lei, deputy director of the Industrial Park Management Committee, and other relevant officials provided a detailed explanation on aspects such as the approval process for the green alcohol project, the provision of necessary resources, and the available resource conditions. At the project coordination meeting, a consensus was reached on advancing the project’s implementation, and the detailed division of tasks was clarified. Next, the industrial park will work together with relevant parties to accelerate the implementation of the project.
