In China’s current coal chemical industry, I am only aware that ammonia production with desulfurization and low-temperature methanol washing require the measurement of total sulfur; I would appreciate it if experts could tell me what other monitoring points are needed for the detection of trace amounts of sulfur
For the analysis of total sulfur at levels above 0.1 ppm in gases, chromatography or ultraviolet fluorescence methods can be used; for gases with sulfur contents below this limit, only the ultraviolet fluorescence method is generally applicable.
