According to news from Hualu Hengsheng in June 2026, the company’s methyl ethyl carbonate production facility is scheduled to be shut down for maintenance by the end of June, with the time of resumption yet to be determined. The methyl ethyl carbonate plant of Hualu Hengsheng uses DMC (dimethyl carbonate) and ethanol as raw materials to produce methyl ethyl carbonate through transesterification technology.
