After the maintenance, the plant’s production capacity was fully utilized, and production figures reached new heights once again. Among them, the methanol plant with a capacity of 600,000 tons per year reached a daily production volume of 2,646 tons, while the two methanol plants maintained a daily output of over 3,300 tons, setting new records for the production performance of these plants. The 600,000 tons per year methanol plant that has been repaired this time had been operating steadily for 42 months prior to this, far exceeding the originally planned operational period of 36 months. The catalyst also served for 41 months, setting a new record for the plant’s operational history. The polyoxymethylene plant has broken with conventional industry practices by extending the maintenance cycle from 10 to 12 months to nearly two years, placing its operation and maintenance standards among the best among the 14 similar plants nationwide. Ningxia Coal Industry’s methanol division has a methanol production plant with an annual capacity of 250,000 tons, another methanol production plant with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons, and a polyoxymethylene production plant with an annual capacity of 60,000 tons, among other facilities. The 250,000 tons per year methanol plant uses Texaco’s water-coal slurry pressurized gasification technology and was put into operation in 2007. 600,000 tons of methanol are vaporized using four-nozzle technology, and it came online in 2010. The 60,000 tons per year polyoxymethylene plant uses methanol as raw material and employs copolymerized polyoxymethylene technology; it came online in 2011.
