Due to the pressure of dual controls on energy use and the production restrictions implemented during the autumn and winter seasons, many enterprises are faced with having to suspend or limit their production. On October 29th, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment held a press conference to outline the main objectives and specific tasks for air pollution control during this autumn and winter period. The status of clean transportation via railways, waterways, pipelines, etc., will be verified one by one, and by the end of December, customized plans for adjusting the structure of bulk goods transportation in ports and key industries will be formulated. Accelerate the increase in freight traffic on the Tang-Cao and Qian-Cao railways, and ensure that the Shui-Cao railway is operational by the end of the year. Although the situation of power cuts and production halts has changed since October, many enterprises have not yet fully recovered from the restrictions on electricity supply and production.
