Can inverters cause unstable current? Teachers
To be more specific: is it new equipment or has it been in use for some time? Is it low voltage or high voltage? Is the load a centrifugal pump or a fan/compressor? What is the type of material being handled? What does it mean by unstable current – are there severe fluctuations within a 1-minute period? How long does it last? Will it end with a shutdown, or will it return to normal on its own? What fault message is displayed in the case of a shutdown? In any case, when the current is unstable, I usually first suspect the presence of impurities in the process materials. I disconnect the motor from the load; if it’s a single-phase motor and there are no problems, then I let the personnel responsible for the process and equipment figure out the cause themselves
